The concept of Nishia Da Diva Productions was set in motion in 2006 with the notion of Nishia hosting and emceeing numerous parties in the Houston gay and lesbian community. The renowned Cookie La Cook inspired Nishia Da Diva by taking her “under her wing” in 2005 and giving Nishia the responsibility of coordinating and booking shows at Club Toyz. Nishia Da Diva Productions took off on a different level with her new contribution to the Houston party scene when Cookie La Cook officially passed the torch to Nishia prior to her death in 2007. As a result, a new era of Club Toyz began with Nishia at the helm. Club Toyz has brought a number of celebrities on the scene with guest appearances by Remy Ma, Aneesa, Lil O and Cutta C.

Offering more than just the club connection; Nishia Da Diva has branched into other business ventures. TCR (Thick Chicks Rule) is the first non-profit endeavor of Nishia Da Diva Productions with the concept of empowering full-figured women. Nishia Da Diva Productions has been involved in numerous high profile events in the lesbian community. She has partnered with Basquettes Sports Group and Eskay Entertainment for the last two years to bring “Freedom To Flirt” to Houston during the 4th of July weekend. Now, as a collaborative effort to unite the Houston lesbian community, Nishia Da Diva Productions, Eskay Entertainment and Sweet Puss Promotions offer “Sexy SHE Saturdays” every Saturday night at Club Aztecas.
